We promise men they can count on us for discipleship delivered with faith,
hope, and love.

OUR HISTORY

Immersion Outfitters was founded in July 2011 as a place for men to come together outside of the Church in order to learn about Jesus and walk in His ways. That can be intimidating for a lot of men, so we try to make everything as welcoming and simple as possible.

What started in a garage in Bulverde, Texas, is now a chapter-based program with seven locations. We are a small two-person staff with all volunteer leaders.

We are a Christian faith-based organization working outside and across denominations to engage in evangelism and social welfare. We seek to come alongside the church to protect and enhance its effectiveness. We maintain a strong commitment to, and understanding of the gospel.

We invite you to check out Immersion Outfitters (IO) for yourself, and if there is not a chapter near you, invite you to get in touch so we can train you or another leader to launch a new chapter in your area. You don't have to be an advanced Bible scholar here; we are just looking for men with a heart to serve, be open about his faith experiences, and facilitate small groups with some training.

What’s Important to IO

We focus on men, coming from all walks of life, as they transform their relationships with God and people

Meet the Team

George Ramirez came to IO in 2018, helping to procure the current historical grounds on which we reside, lead groups and provide counseling to men, women and couples, as needed. His background was in finance and accounting before he felt God's call to serve - and followed it!

Stephanie Rodriguez joined the team in early 2023, bringing support and systems to IO to help with their plan for growth across Texas, the US and around the world. She is married to Jacob, and they have three young children. She comes from a sales, marketing and management background, mostly in the non-profit sector.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.
Let all that you do be done in love.
